Penthouse Series and Cebu Fashion Designers

The Cebu party angst community and the fashionsphere is up for a treat starting tomorrow at 12 midnight and all Wednesdays of April and May when Cebu local designers and the Loft’s Penthouse invites everyone to be part of the Penthouse Fashion Series directed by Dino Lloren.
 
Designers such as Harvey Cenit, Mary Ty, Mique Yapching, Manuel T. Jonas Navarro, Barbie Alvez and Norman will feature their designs for the night while partying at the same time. How fun is that! See a preview of the designer’s babies worn by AD …

Mary Ty of Very Mary designs set up shop at the second floor of Myra’s pensionne, Escario St., Cebu City.
Oh, you wouldn’t miss it. Just look up when you go past Myra’s Pensionne and when you see the Mary Ty red and white trademark dress, you know you are not lost.
“My friends’ Vito Selma and Alexis Yap helped me put things into place,” Mary said of the shop’s interior. “I was going for glamour,” she explained of the black and white design making the entire look clasical.

Hip Young Cebu at PHAT THURSDAY two weekends ago was not a hiphop undulation but a series of fashion upheavals that gave way to Cebu’s newest designers.
Say hi to  Very Mary collections of Mary Ty.

Mary started dabbling with designing clothes when she was still in highschool. “I started drawing on any notebook I could get my hands on – and they weren’t even mine!” she said. Mary finally catered to public viewing the time she launched Very Mary collections this year.
