Avon Products, Inc., has announced a collaboration with celebrity makeup artist Jillian Dempsey, a beauty industry icon and the wife of Grey’s Anatomy hearthrob Patrick Dempsey and is now working to rebrand Avon and its flagship color brand. Jillian Dempsey has been the creative brains, founder and owner of now defunct Delux cosmetics that made Allure magazine name Delux Beauty Lip Gloss as the “Best Lip Gloss” in their Editors’ Choice Awards. Why a prestigious cosmetic brand decided to switch to the masses is beyond me.
