When the art of maquillage is displayed in palettes patented by your favorite makeup artist, you would also like to think that you are already an expert when it comes to putting on makeup. Jessie Glova, a top Cebu makeup artist who is known to make anyone beautiful, partnered with Kimberly Lam of Shopcoholic and came up with the Jessie Glova Cosmetics  collection, a series of makeup palettes that zooms in on key areas that need coverage and more.

Introducing Jessie Glova’s 15 pc Concealer / Corrector Palette (photo above)  that has several shades of skintone color concealers for you to mix and match with definitely has color correctors to neutralize problem areas.

Yellow - For dark circles under your eyes
Green -  red spots such as pimples
Lavender - For correcting sallow or yellow skin (especially if you are sick)
Orangey-beige - For dark circles / freckles; use on top of a lighter toned concealer

TIPS ON APPLYING CONCEALER:
Layer until you achieve the coverage you want.
Always set with loose powder. Makeup will be cake-y if this isn’t achieved.
If you are still starting out, different shades of concealers are required to mix and match skin tones

Why the Jessie Glova makeup brand is different from others has everything to do with the ingredients, texture, pigments and workability. “The palettes are really good cos of its range [of colors],” Jessie said.

How did you and Kim come up with this makeup collection?

“I came up with an idea with the line because I teach basic make-up and I need to concentrate on the colors which I need for my activities that my students can see the effect when they try it on - specially on eye make-up… I cant recommend or push brands because I am not paid to do it … so what I did, I came up with my own line which my students are oblige to have [cos] all the activities are based on Jessie Glova Cosmetics palette and it is easier for me and for my students, too.”

Kim said, “We’ve been thinking of coming up a our own makeup line for so long that I finally decided to look for a supplier and named the collection after him.”
