DJ SURF Boutwood has always had an ear for music; sounds literally excite him! But it wasn’t until Surf really felt the atmosphere that he discovered the energy & expression within him; it wasn’t until he started experimenting with house music as a dj that he realised he wanted to entertain and share… Surf was extremely curious to know what it would be like to be part of this House culture (soon to rocket out of proportion and into the mainstream); either to be part of the crowd, or even unlikely he thought, a DJ! At the very least he just wanted to be part of this unique atmosphere that had him longing for more and more.

Born in Bedfordshire, England in 1984, Surf moved to Spain (Andalucia) in the late nineties. Aged 16 years he became interested in club music and dj’s profession. At about the same time he finished school and started training as a sound technician for a local company. After tens years, Surf quit his job and his life in Spain to end up on the beaches of the Philippines. Being half english, half filipino, Surf has made an impact on the Philipine scene. His dj career has seen him play in some of Manila and Boracays most prestigious clubs, consistently wowing crowds with his technically brilliant, distinctly unique mixing style and energy behind the decks. His sets are always fresh, original and well thought about, combining upfront house tracks, yet to be released MP3’s, promos, white labels, and club classics -This ensures that Surf stands out from the rest. The Music Surf plays house, from electronic house, european house, electro tinged uplifting house, twisted house, funky house and progressive house. The music Surf plays depends on where he’s booked, but you can always expect his sets to be pumping, melodic, housexy, and dance floor friendly. Availabilty Surf welcomes bookings, and enjoys playing to all crowds - large or small.
