With world wide acclaim, Valentino: The Last Emperor is shown in different countries and states that follows the fashion designer Valentino Garavani and his longtime business partner, Giancarlo Giammetti in the final two years of their career. A behind-the-scenes look at the world of Haute Couture, “Valentino: The Last Emperor” is a documentary on the celebrated fashion designer, made months before the wake of his exit in 2008 from the company he built more than 45 years ago. The film, produced and directed by Matt Tyrnauer, Special Correspondent for Vanity Fair magazine, will showcase the struggle of fashion against commerce and the budding relationship Valentino has had with Giancarlo.

Oj Hofer, Cebu fashion designer and Zee Lifestyle Magazine’s columnist says that, “Valentino’s creations are a synthesis of luxury and grace that is modulated with modernity.” Valentino’s final catwalk at the Rodin Museum in Paris was last January of 2008. Top models’ Claudia Schiffer and Karen Mulder graced the event.
