One Saturday in May at the Loft Penthouse Fashion Show Series of fashion designer cum creative director Dino Lloren placed a spotlight that illuminated Dino Lloren’s collection and Noreen Tseng’s craft. As expected, everyone who came that night were all on the same Oh-my-God-those-are-gorgeous-I-must-have-those boat.

Two years back when Noreen Tseng’s Evolution Craft fashion show in Vudu inspired everyone to go bold and artsy in their jewelry preferences, I always knew that she’d be coming back with more of those babies anytime this year. Didn’t I say she brought home the Cebu Fashion Accessories Design Guild awards last year? You can check out Paolo’s gallery to view what transpired that night.

I love this! A personal favorite. Tseng jewelry is for fashionistas who wouldn’t mind calling attention from people on what they are wearing. We might be expecting bags and belts in the future and seeing Tseng as an international brand for accessories and jewelry. The pieces are loud for the conservative fashionista but if you wanted to be noticed, you’d definitely wear Tseng jewelry.

Key materials like plated brass and Swarovski crystals are draped all over the models and each and every one of those designs underscored Noreen’s penchant for jewelry making. Metals, after all, are her medium. She says she is not really aiming for any particular design of some sort but this collection drew inspiration from the metalsmith she found all the way from Bulacan. “I was super eager to get him to start working on the designs that were playing around my mind for quite some time now,” Noreen said. Although this series doesn’t have a name, they certainly add more authority to the Tseng accessory line.

Dino is also part of several fashion fetes such as the Bijoux Cebu 2008, Sposabella shows at the Waterfront (who can forget that red jumpsuit?) and recently, the Samsung Metrowear 100 held at the Tent City in Manila. I’m sure Dino has stories to tell about that glorious event soon. ♥
