Stylecebu Go See | Preppy Debbie Go

My friend Fedz and I were just discussing how a person normally looks glamorous on occasions that actually requires her to showcase everything she has in her closet. Everyone is always at their best when they are out! Maybe I have to digress that someone’s personal style is not just all about how she is when dresses up for a party but mostly on her street smart-y way of playing with her personal style away from paparazzi eyes.

If you catch someone on an ordinary day in their best jeans and designer bag, you know that such effortless look is best.

My friend Sasha dedicated a page to Manila’s street fashion and the Sartorialist opened the world’s eye view on New York street wear. It is just right that Cebu has her own fair share of street savvy stylish Cebuanas!

Say hi to 23 year old interior designer Debbie Jane Go.

Debbie with cousin Warren who is also a good friend of mine on one of their Asian trips. This interior designer knows her blazer boy suits so well. (Thanks love for the photos)

Tseng. You can never go wrong in a Debbie-style LBD.

Debbie describes her style as preppy and her short black hair adds much to the black and white hues she is mostly into. What are the things she cannot leave home without? “Diamond accessories, black miu miu bag, doll shoes, black eyeliner, big funky SS watch,” she said.

Speaking of jewelry, Smitten Accessories are Deb’s babies! She designed and handcrafted them herself. I actually have photos of her designs when they had an exhibit at the SM Trade Hall when my pc crashed. When they get all fixes, it won’t be long that I’ll be posting them soon. Sorry, Deb! :) Smitten jewelry are sold at ISIS Boutique and What A Girl Wants in Ayala Center Cebu. All contact information are at her website. See a preview of one of her designs. This is one of those bracelets that I got but is still being eaten away by the evil they call the Trojan worm.

Debbie right now is occupied mostly with her interior designing and getting the highest score on her Graduate Management Admission Test. If you know someone who represents Cebu style and fashion, email the editor at bescene@stylecebu.com
