Hooray for another way to visualize a ‘Creative City’! What better excuse to see a gathering of Cebu artists in all forms than this Saturday’s festival?

The Creative City campaign will hold TUBOD FEST this Saturday, March 7 at the Terraces, Ayala Center Cebu, a campaign that tapped the One Town One Product (OTOP) program of the government in aiding Cebu economy by showcasing them to the international market.

The festival will be the official launching of Cebu as a “Creative City” by the British Council. Delegates from the Southeast Asian region will be joining this affair so expect an international audience and a very festive crowd!

All major creative sectors in arts, culinary, industrial and furniture design, architecture and interior design, fashion design, interactive, print, dance and performing arts, music and film will be participating so hopefully everyone’s folly will be entertained.

The Creative Cebu core group is composed of Ana Tan of the British Council, creative entrepreneur Jay Aldeguer, Department of Trade and Industry Nelia F. Navarro, De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde School of Design and Art Dean Gerard Torres and media personality Daphne Oseña-Paez and TubodFest is one of the many activities that they have lined up this year.
