VUDU Privé Lounge’s Stylish kick-off for 2009
Parties have a demi-monde, too, and when the shoulder to shoulder slew of people greets your sight at the entrance gates then you know you have come to the right place. There is no real science to make people keep coming back to one setting but Vudu somehow manages to make that effortless down pat.
Did I mention that their lounge is sexy?
Kaz Onozawa of Rhipstop Clothing recreated the entire second floor by using strips in varying lengths and randomly spaced to curve around the space and create present ambiance it now has when you are inside. The whole aim to make the look “fluid and organic”, thus, says Jaja Rama of Onozawa’s interior design.
The lounge is a perfect place to see a shot of your friends laughing while the others are silently tapping their foot on the carpeted floor in tune to the surrounding lounge music. Gone are the booming music that used to beset your auditory system when you are upstairs. If you want to dance, there is a dance floor – and the dance floor is on the main room.
Besides Jon Unson’s mural on the main room, the rest of Vudu has been all reverted to how it was way back in 2001. It is intimate, cozy and sexy making your entire Vudu experience personal. The newly renovated Vudu is all set for year end parties and the upcoming Sinulog revelries in 2009.
Where else can you find the stylish people in Cebu but in Crossroads?

Vudu will now be open daily from 5 p.m. onwards to cater to those who want to unwind after a long day’s work or to have a nightcap after having dinner in neighboring establishments. A new authentic Spanish Tapas menu will be launched very soon. Table reservations and door charge only applies on weekends. More pictures for style sighting soon.

[...] VUDU Privé Lounge’s launching two weekends ago was forthcoming and it was just a matter of time before the place reopened last November. I was even told that I must be their ghost PR person to endorse them that publicly but I just shrugged and said that the place doesn’t need that because it PR-s on its own. [...]
