I should have gone, “Goodbye 2007!”, yeah? A title with a “goodbye” in it makes it negative and I wouldn’t want to start the year with a negative note.

Let us say “Hi” once again to a productive, fashionable and trend setting 2007 that clearly brought us the legendary volumes, huge bangs, and some electro lovin’.

March opened the month fashionably when it announced that Stylissimo was looking for models, photographers, and artists of the same industry to audition and be part of what is now the fashion soirees held every Wednesdays at Club Vudu. July opened several shops in Ayala that paved way for Mango, Promod, Chocolate enthusiasts — a harbinger to what could have been the most fashionable month: AUGUST!

Welcome the month with the biggest fashion event ever to hit Cebu when designers from all over the island converged at the Waterfront Grand Ballroom for StyleWatch. Sponsored by Samsung, the series to end all fashion series deliberately had all of Cebu scramming to go see designers upstage each other at the runways.

Halloween was supposed to send us door to door for goodies. Instead Cebu was lucky enough to be the forerunner last October for MTV’s Launching of the Source at The Loft together with RCTV’s anniversary.
