29 August 2007 960 views 4 Comments

In celebration of Waterfront Hotel’s Tenth Year anniversary, they have brought again the oooober stylish of all parties the entire population of Cebu has ever attended. What more raison d’etre could convince people to graze this weekend’s event when fashion design cocktails and Waterfront hotel are part of the itinerary? Waterfront Hotel, Samsung and Metro Magazine went all out of their way to indulge Cebu’s socializing pack.

Last Friday night, we have just witnessed how Day One went with designers showing off Clothes for Life: A Summer Forecast for 2008. Day Two of the Samsung Style Watch Event boasted the Fashion Council of Cebu in their holiday collection, with Arcy Gayatin, Philip Rodriguez, Oj Hofer, Jun Escario, Ditas Rodriguez, Minnie Yuvienco, Albert Arriba, and Felix Yu.

Day 2 was sashaying with Metrowear Collection.

Arcy ‘s floor length gowns of different bright colors grazed all over the runaway and black pumps were it, it, it contrary to Jun Escario’s huge Yodele shoes and oriental makeup that screams 80s, 80s, 80s! Minnie’s balloon skirts and dresses spoke volumes and you will probably come across those ostentatious displays at her The Best of New York shops. While Phillip Rodriguez played with lots of colors, Felix Yu dabbled with sequins and all that glitter jazz.

All those were zeroing too much on this and next’s season bet. Yellow was the the color. It spoke of life, full of it, explosive, and ksp? Teehee. Stones of all colors were all over each model whether they were on their shoes, their accessories and their outfit. Lastly, volumes from everything bubbly screams buoyancy I could be dizzy from all that full skirts, full dresses, full tops.

More from Day 3! =) Photos by Bong Edralin.
